2023-10-09

Recently, the first train of the Uzbekistan Bukhara 500 MW photovoltaic project, which was contracted and constructed by China Energy Construction Group, was delivered at a shipping ceremony in Zhengzhou. The China Europe freight train "Zhongyu", which carries 50 40 foot containers of goods for the project, slowly departed from the Zhengzhou dry port, marking the project's full entry into the peak shipping period.

The special train starts from Zhengzhou International Inland Port, passes through Khorgos Port, and heads west to Uzbekistan. The 500 MW photovoltaic project in Bukhara Oblast, Uzbekistan is located in the Karaubazar region of Bukhara Oblast. It is the first photovoltaic project to be implemented after the China Asia Summit, and all project components adopt the latest N-type products. The first year's power generation is 1.26 billion kilowatt hours, with an average annual power generation of 1.187 billion kilowatt hours. The project can provide employment for 800 people in Uzbekistan during the construction period and 100 people in the local area during the operation period.

After the project is completed, it can reduce emissions of approximately 1.2 million tons of carbon dioxide annually, save 260 million cubic meters of natural gas, and save 366000 tons of coal. After production, it will effectively alleviate the local power shortage, greatly enhance the local green power supply capacity, improve the local power supply structure, and revitalize the local economy.
